खानापूर / प्रतिनिधी : श्रीमहालक्ष्मी ग्रुप सोसायटी, तोपिनकट्टी संचलित शांतीनिकेतन पदवीपूर्व महाविद्यालयाच्या फुटबॉल संघाने क्रीडा क्षेत्रात उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी करत विद्याभारती राष्ट्रीय पातळीवरील फुटबॉल स्पर्धेसाठी निवड निश्चित केली आहे. राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर कर्नाटक राज्याचे प्रतिनिधित्व करण्यासाठी महाविद्यालयाचा संघ कुरुक्षेत्र, हरियाणा येथे रवाना झाला आहे.
प्रादेशिक तसेच राज्यस्तरीय फुटबॉल स्पर्धांमध्ये उत्कृष्ट कामगिरी करत शांतीनिकेतनच्या संघाने राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेतील आपले स्थान पक्के केले. कुरुक्षेत्र येथे होणाऱ्या विद्याभारती राष्ट्रीय क्रीडा स्पर्धेत देशभरातील विविध राज्यांतील संघ सहभागी होणार असून, या स्पर्धेत शांतीनिकेतनचा संघ आपल्या उत्कृष्ट खेळाचे प्रदर्शन करणार आहे.
संघाच्या या उल्लेखनीय यशाबद्दल श्रीमहालक्ष्मी सोसायटीचे संस्थापक-अध्यक्ष तथा खानापूर तालुक्याचे आमदार विठ्ठलराव हलगेकर यांनी फुटबॉल संघाचे अभिनंदन करून खेळाडूंना पुढील वाटचालीसाठी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.
महाविद्यालयाचे व्यवस्थापक, सचिव, प्राचार्या, क्रीडा शिक्षक तसेच सर्व प्राध्यापकवर्गाने राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेसाठी निवड झालेल्या खेळाडूंचे कौतुक केले. राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर उत्कृष्ट कामगिरी करून खानापूर तालुक्यासह कर्नाटक राज्याचे नाव उज्ज्वल करण्याचा विश्वास महाविद्यालय प्रशासनाने व्यक्त केला आहे.
शांतीनिकेतनच्या युवा फुटबॉलपटूंच्या या यशाबद्दल खानापूर परिसरातील क्रीडाप्रेमींकडूनही त्यांच्यावर शुभेच्छांचा वर्षाव होत आहे.
Khanapur’s Shantiniketan College Football Team Leaves for National Vidya Bharati Championship in Haryana
Khanapur: The football team of Shantiniketan Pre-University College, run by Shrimahalakshmi Group Society, Topinkatti, has achieved a remarkable feat by qualifying for the Vidya Bharati National-Level Football Championship. The team has now left for Kurukshetra, Haryana, where it will represent Karnataka at the national level.
The Shantiniketan football team secured its place in the prestigious national championship through impressive performances at the regional and state-level competitions. Teams from various states across the country are expected to participate in the national tournament, and the Shantiniketan players will get an opportunity to showcase their talent and skills on the national stage.
Congratulating the team on its achievement, Shrimahalakshmi Society Founder-President and Khanapur MLA Viththalrao Halgekar appreciated the young footballers and wished them success in the upcoming championship.
The college management, secretary, principal, physical education teacher and teaching staff also congratulated the players and extended their best wishes for the national-level competition.
The college administration expressed confidence that the young footballers will put up an impressive performance and bring laurels to Khanapur taluk and Karnataka state. Sports enthusiasts from Khanapur have also extended their warm wishes to the team as it embarks on this prestigious national-level journey.
